artist residency 2021

ventunesimo – artist residency is an opportunity for emerging artists to research, build relationships and conceive a new project in Occhieppo Inferiore (Biella – ITALY).

Following the three-week residency, the curators of PROGETTOHECATE will support the artists from remote to help them develop the project until the exhibition, which will happen in September 2022.

This residency aims at supporting contemporary art practices and facilitate dialogue and engagement with the local community.

ventunesimo artist residency is a partnership between ventunesimo, a research art project born in 2019, and Associazione Turistica Pro Loco di Occhieppo Inferiore. The artists will be supported with time, space and resources to participate in this residency, with up to five artists being selected. Resident artists will be hosted by local families in their houses.
